#TIPTUESDAY The Open Concept Obsession

It is almost impossible to watch any real estate TV show without hearing the term ‘open concept’ at least once! Buyers these days search for open spaces that organically flow into one anyone. Modern designs cater towards spaces that fit the entertaining lifestyle. If your home is an older build with an outdated layout plan, think open concept when renovating! A segregated and cut off formal dinner room will not appeal to modern buyers. If possible, physically open up the space by removing walls or barriers that separate the areas. If not, simply keep a light color scheme throughout the house and try to flow the décor and design across multiple spaces to create a manufactured feeling of fluidity!
